Persons wishing to address the Committee on any matter not on the posted agenda are invited to do so. Please note, however, that the committee is not able to undertake extended discussion or to act on non-agenda items. Such items can be referred to staff for appropriate action, which may include placement on a future agenda. As a courtesy to others, the communications should be kept to a three-minute limit.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES of meeting June 14, 2012

OLD BUSINESS

1. Review  of Monthly Financial Report for the Trails Committee
2. Report from the Subcommittee for Pedestrian Trails.  (Cathy B, Chris A).  Continued discussion of outreach to residents that use the trails for walking and jogging, to insure we are meeting their trail needs. Discussion of trails to the school.   Vote for prioritizing trails improvements if needed. 
3. Update on Trail plans for the Emerald Hills area.  Report from staff on progress.  Vote on decisions and budget for trail building for the Emeralds Hills area.
4. Continued review of Trails Project list and budget.  Recommend action and funds for new trails projects.  Recommend priorities. This item is handled as a routine item.  Only those projects selected by the committee will be discussed.
5. Review of the budget and vote on the replacement of the 5 or 6 Hitching Posts in Town Center and Canada Corners

NEW BUSINESS

6.    Trial Easement at Montelena Court.  Staff report on June 14 Public Communication item
7.    Set Trails Ride for Town council
INFORMATIONAL ITEMS   

Any writings or documents provided to a majority of the Trails Committee regarding any item on this Agenda will be made available for public inspection at the Administration Counter at Town Hall located at 2955 Woodside Road during normal business hours.
