§ 31.04 TOWN CLERK.

(A) The Town Clerk shall perform the duties prescribed by law, including the duties prescribed by Cal. Gov't Code § 40801 et seq. and any additional duties as prescribed by the Town Manager. The Town Clerk is appointed by the Town Manager and shall hold said office at the pleasure of the Town Manager.

(B) The financial, accounting, and other duties imposed upon the Town Clerk by Cal. Gov't Code §§ 37200 through 37209 and 40802 through 40805.5 are hereby transferred to the Town Finance Director in accordance with the provisions of Cal. Gov't Code §§ 37209 and 40805.5.
