Meetings:
Fourth Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m.

Appointments:
Seven members appointed by the Town Council, for staggered 2-year terms. A quorum is four members.

Duties:
The Livestock and Animal Control Committee reviews applications for commercial stable permits and dog kennel permits and forwards recommendations to the Planning Director. It also reviews exceptions to the private stable regulations and forwards recommendations for approval or disapproval to the Planning Director. It studies the existing ordinances and makes appropriate recommendations for change and advises the Planning Commission, Town Council, and staff on any animal-related problems. The Committee advises on issues pertaining to the Town's contract with the County of San Mateo for animal control services.
