As a service to our residents, Woodside has teamed up with a local non-profit, Acterra, to provide a free, step-by-step approach to saving energy — without making a significant impact on your home operation.
The High Energy Homes program offers you customized recommendations for finding “free money” in your utility bill. Using an innovative software program, Silicon Valley residents in four towns similar to Woodside are now saving an average of over $700/year on their PG&E bills.
Using SmartMeter data, this easy, online analysis is specifically designed to reduce energy usage in larger homes by offering recommendations tailored to your home’s energy use profile. It doesn’t require someone to come to your home and all data is held confidentially.
