Sudden Oak Death (SOD) has caused widespread loss of several tree species in California and recently has affected many trees in the Portola Valley and Woodside areas.
The Town of Woodside is committed to reducing the threat of wildfire in our community. In support of this effort, the Town Council has established the DEFENSIBLE SPACE MATCHING FUND PROGRAM.<
The Woodside Fire Protection District (WFPD) continues its neighborhood Chipper Program in 2012 in collaboration with the Towns of Woodside and Portola Valley.
