CALL FOR CHANGES TO THE AGENDA
Update from Planning Department staff regarding any changes and/or clarification of any of the agenda items.  Items may be removed from the agenda or placed in another order.  No items may be added to the agenda.

PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS
Persons wishing to address the Board on any appropriate subjects are invited to do so.  Please note, however, that the Board is not able to undertake extended discussion or to act on non-agenda items.  Such items can be referred to staff for appropriate action, which may include placement on a future agenda.  As a courtesy to others, the communication should be kept to a three-minute limit.

AGENDA ITEMS:


1. Ben Giland and Quan Su - 205 Whiskey Hill Road

ASRB2012-0010: Presentation and consideration of a Preliminary Review to relocate an existing historic residence (the Shine House) on site to a location on the same site which is closer to Woodside Road, and construct a new main residence, accessory living quarters, green house, swimming pool, gazebo, auto court, and expanded driveway; and site grading and landscaping. This project, in a more conceptual form, was heard by the ASRB on May 7, 2012. Planner: Jackie Young, Planning Director

2. Charles and Elizabeth Lee - 125 Eleanor Drive                                                   

ASRB2012-0028: Second presentation and consideration of a Preliminary Review to demolish an existing single-family residence, a carport and two accessory structures; retain a pool; and construct a new two-story single family residence, and attached 2-car garage (at lower level), an auto court, and a new driveway; and site grading and landscaping. The property is zoned SR (Suburban Residential). This project was heard by the ASRB on April 16, 2012. Planner: Jackie Young, Planning Director


3. Fiona Ryan and Torrey Rothstein -  3110 Woodside Road

ASRB2012-0015: Continued review and recommendation of approval, conditional approval, or denial to the Planning Commission of a proposal to demolish an existing single-family residence, construct a new residence with a basement (attached) accessory living quarters, renovate an existing swimming pool, construct an addition to an existing barn, and install associated landscaping, fences, and an entry gate on a 3.00-acre site in a designated scenic corridor at 3110 Woodside Road. 4. Evan and Cindy Goldberg - 185 Roberta Drive

ASRB2012-0014: Review and recommendation of approval, conditional approval, or denial to the Planning Director of a proposal to construct a new main residence, pool house, accessory living quarters, pavilion, detached garage, fence, gate, and pool on a parcel that previously contained a residence and stable.  Site work includes new landscaping and grading.  Planner: Sage Schaan, Senior Planner

   
5. Jim and Diane Donovan - 110 Hardwick Road  

ASRB2012-0034: Review and recommendation of approval, conditional approval, or denial to the Planning Director, of a proposal to install new entry features, including a vehicle gate, pylons, and an associated fence extension. Planner: Licinia McMorrow, Senior Planner


6. James Garretson - 304 Glenwood Avenue

ASRB2012-0027: Presentation and consideration of a Preliminary Review continued from the July 16, 2012, ASRB meeting to demolish an existing residence and accessory structures and construct a new residence on a 0.36-acre lot at 304 Glenwood Avenue (APN 073-061-040). Note: Continued to this agenda on July 16, 2012. Applicant has requested additional time. Planner: Licinia McMorrow, Senior Planner

APPEALS
The Architectural and Site Review Board is an advisory body that makes recommendations on projects to either the Planning Director or the Planning Commission. The Planning Director usually makes a decision on a project based upon the recommendations of the ASRB and makes such a decision within two to three days of the ASRB meeting.  Any decision by the Planning Director may be appealed to the Planning Commission, and any decision by the Planning Commission may be appealed to the Town Council.  Appeals must be received in writing at Town Hall within 10 calendar days of a decision.  (For more information on Appeals, please refer to Sections 153.335 through 153.338 of the Woodside Municipal Code.)

ANY WRITINGS OR DOCUMENTS PROVIDED TO A MAJORITY OF THE ARCHITECTURAL AND SITE REVIEW BOARD REGARDING ANY ITEM ON THIS AGENDA WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION AT THE ADMINISTRATION COUNTER AT TOWN HALL LOCATED AT 2955 WOODSIDE ROAD DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS.
