A. Hearing of the same project and entitlement approved by the Planning Commission on September 1, 2010, which has expired:
Review and recommendation of approval/denial of a proposal to construct a 561 square foot detached garage on a property located in the Western Hills. The proposal would require a Variance to the required rear setbacks in order to allow construction within 18 feet, and 5 inches of the rear property line where a 50 foot rear yard setback is required. The site is 86,960 square feet located within an SCP-7.5 zoning district.
B. Review and recommendation of approval/denial of a proposal to erect (4) 4,600 gallon, 10 foot diameter water tanks for fire suppression on a property located in the Western Hills. The proposal would require a Variance to the required rear setbacks in order to allow erection within 4 feet+/- of the rear property line where a 50 foot rear yard setback is required. ASRB2012-0028: Second presentation and consideration of a Preliminary Review to demolish an existing single-family residence, a carport and two accessory structures; retain a pool; and construct a new two-story single family residence, and attached 2-car garage (at lower level), an auto court, and a new driveway; and site grading and landscaping. The property is zoned SR (Suburban Residential). This project was heard by the ASRB on April 16, 2012; and was subsequently scheduled for the June 18, 2012 meeting, and was continued on this date at the request of the applicant. APPEALS
The Architectural and Site Review Board is an advisory body that makes recommendations on projects to either the Planning Director or the Planning Commission. The Planning Director usually makes a decision on a project based upon the recommendations of the ASRB and makes such a decision within two to three days of the ASRB meeting. Any decision by the Planning Director may be appealed to the Planning Commission, and any decision by the Planning Commission may be appealed to the Town Council. Appeals must be received in writing at Town Hall within 10 calendar days of a decision. (For more information on Appeals, please refer to Sections 153.335 through 153.338 of the Woodside Municipal Code.)
